Love the honesty. "My MOVIE WAS SHIT" but I'm glad I made it.

A friend of mine invested in a music studio and it’s literally his bread and butter renting it out. It’s kept him afloat during the pandemic. There’s an endless line of aspiring musicians in every major city.

random idea for your channel while i was watching: i reckon adding a closing frame before the final question frame with any books the interviewey has written or places the interviewey provides more info would be helpful for both viewers who may be interested in the person and what they know but are too lazy to go hunting, as well as for your channel in it being another additional incentive for great minds to agree to be interviewed by you!

just a thought, might not be right but thought i’d share. as always, thank you for the perspective and insights!

It’s not anyone else’s job to be excited about your dream. That’s your job. People who spend money really really want to make it back plus a profit: if you don’t think so try getting on the phone with them when they don’t and see how they sound. See if they are okay with it because they only want to help you

I’d like this helpful video to go a little further by itemizing where the largest economies/savings are to be made or found during film production.

Yes I can write a movie in 2 days I always have these images, stories, plots, concepts running in my vission/imagination now and then, 1 unpublished novel, 2short stories, and 1 not yet produced screen script and 5 unproduced radio scripts to be turned into radio scripts whereas I am not working in the industry.

He says "if your story sucks, it better look good." no, make sure the story is magical and worry less about it looking good.

Investors want to help themselves and make money.

Even the investors who want to help you still want a shot at making ROI. If you can't explain how they will make money, then you'd best just start calling it a donation instead of an investment.

Is there a list or a source investors you may turn us into? I have nothing to hide, I'd love to have an investor troll my social media...lol
