Toyota has announced a major power increase for the 2021 Toyota Supra along with an A91 Edition, and a Supra 2.0 for the US. It's still got the B58 engine, but it's a revised version with lower compression and the power band has moved up. The 2.0 features a 255hp engine and is over 200lbs lighter than the 3.0. Get all the details explained fully right here.

Aspiring Supra owners, just wait until the final year of production and you'll have the best Supra yet!

590 LNO
It’s the ratio of angry internet trolls vs actual Lease (N) Owners they have. So for every one single customer there are 590 people crying about how the mark 5 should have a 2JZ.

Imagine if Toyota made their own engine for the supra along with a Toyota-built manual transmission. It's nice to dream lol

40k for a 2.0 4 banger with 250hp?
I think I'll just keep my 2019 EcoBoost Mustang, 20k for a 2.3 4 banger with 310hp sounds like a better deal IMO

you wont feel more lag with the newer setup trust me - if you really think 200rpm will cause a difference, I would advise you to try to see if you could control your own engine within 200 rpms. You have to also consider that the combination of gear box and engine come into play, and while at 1600 rpm the engine will not be at the quoted peak torque, the torque at the point will not be much lower anyway.

I just hope that there will be a GRMN Supra in a year or two. The S58 and this chassis could make a great combination.

I wish the legacy edition A80 wing was used on those high performance models.

These gonna be as popular as brz/frs and mustangs on the road in a couple years. Not a bad thing at all just kinda sucks for those people who paid dealer markups for the first gen GR.

I work for Mazda and our regional rep told us they are in the making of our new SkyActiv In-line 6. Since we’re building a plant with them in Huntsville, I think they will put our engine in the Supra, who knows.
