Cryocannon + Boiler Ray Cooker Setup

Taking advantage of the cooker's temperature spreading ability to pile enemies together for an explosion chain.

The Wave Cooker strangely does more damage to frozen enemies similar to bullets, but it still tickles large enemies, Ice Spear and Axes are recommended if you are using this.

Been using this setup for a little while, it's great fun - single-handedly clearing any size swarm of grunts. Only thing that gives me real trouble is surprise Dreadnoughts.

that is just a bunch of grunts, I want to see it deal with half of them being Guards and Slashers + the 1 or 2 Pretorians in the background

The setup is very fun and even more rewarding if you are patient and time your shots so you can wait for other grunts to come closer and freeze them as well, instead of popping them as soon as you see them
It can also chain temperature shocks if a large enemy is surrounded by grunts; freeze the large enemy and grunts, pop the large, then pop the grunts. If done properly, the freeze progress of the large enemy should be substantially larger and allow you to freeze it faster for another easy temp shock.

Unfortunately inefficient against Oppressors, so pair it with an axe throw and a power pickaxe to deal some extra damage. DO NOT TEMP SHOCK OPPRESSORS OFF THEIR FREEZE!
Doing so removes your freeze progress back to 0%. Instead, deal some damage with the axe/pickaxe/spear, then let it break off the ice. It will have 90% freezing, so you can pull out your Cryocannon and freeze it again so you can either wait for your team to kill it or do another round of axe/pickaxe/spear, depending how confident you feel on using that extra ammo in one Oppressor.

What if you used Cryo Snowball OC to combo with both T3 and T5 temp amps/shock on the Wave Cooker, along with Diffusion Ray to pen the crowd?

Might be faster to not only explode a crowd, but also spread freeze status (even if some get temp shocked)

freezing grunts and just drilling them is too easy and too ammo efficent for this to be usable
