That is a fair question. I'm black and there should be no reason for them to get offended by that type of question. He asked if he would have been in a similar position and gotten to Yale if his parents or community or the people around him had told him he could do more than being a ball player or an entertainer, like become a scientist or a doctor.

Legit, black people tell black boys that they could be in the nba or nfl more than being a doctor or a scientist or a teacher or a trucker driver or anything that does not have to deal with sports or entertainment.

Let's reverse the scenario and the black men asked the guy asking the question if he would be in the same position because he is white. No one would bat an eye, and I would argue that would be worse than what was asked here.

And for those of you who are going to say something like, he is white, white people have all these privileges from the get up. Why aren't a lot of white people in the white population of america in the same or similar position of power as the guy asking that question?

We need to stop looking at skin color and look at everyone as their own individual and as americans. Black people in america [born and raised] most definitely cant even name a country in africa and know where they are located in Africa. Let us let go of this race ist junk completely and move forward.

At least McNeely is open about his bigotry and racism. Looks like we are headed back to the good old days pre civil rights. Now you know who this man is and how to deal with him. This man represents what America 🇺🇸 wants to go back to!

It's racist to say that was racist. Also that suit sucks.

The real question he wants to ask is……. If he would be his top! 🤸🏾

How is this racist? Affirmative Action, DEI, and diversity quotas have made this a legitimate question.

I would never let an American female or American born minority doctor operate on me because of this.

Legit question. Did he get into Harvard because of affirmative action or because he earned it? We know some schools discriminate against Asian students in favor of Black students. This is a fact.

Careful, Rep, you almost got to the truth. None of that.
