Our kids have a place here so we are lucky enough to travel from Burks falls where we live to the Maritimes often now. Thankfully they have moved back home now with our grandkids but they kept a 20 acre property in Miminegash PEI

PEI lobster is the best and so are the oysters. We bought a couple of 2 pounders right off the dock in Tignish and proceeded to cook them on the stove of our Turtleback trailer. Didn’t have a big enough pot so we improvised with a frypan and inverted baking pan on top and cooked them one at a time. Every part was tender and sweet, well worth the effort and messy cleanup! Next time you’re on PEI, check out the Shellfish Festival, it’s epic.
