When you said "Duncan Hines" my inner carb cop went berserk. So I looked up people who ate their Keto friendly cake and then tested blood sugar. Yes, the BG spiked as much as 20 points in 30 minutes BUT by the two hour mark, the BG had dropped to baseline and the ketones went up. I think that is awesome! I think I will make tres leches cake for my next celebration.

I've always poured milk over any dried out cake since I was a kid so I've been used to "wet cake" for over 60 years! (We did warm milk over old dried out cornbread too.) And then I lived with a Mexican girl friend and her kids and tres leches cake for birthdays! YUMMMM!

I ❤️ Tres Leches! Excited to try this. I too have been wanting to try that Keto (DH?) yellow cake mix but just keep forgetting to peak @ the "sketchy" ingredient list. But it didn't seem so awful when you read it. So, good to know!

Much better than those sweet little dessert cups you can buy at the store. My ex husband ate almost the whole package of those dessert cups when I was working. He was diabetic. I was so looking forward to having strawberry short cake. The next day I made the shortcake on the Bisquick box. He said that was not shortcake because it wasn't sweet enough. I enjoyed it all to myself but I like your cake better.

looks goood. i believe tre's leche cake; looks like she Whipped the cream to form thick top spread.. thanks for the keto caramel recipe... can also whipped heavy cream till thick . add in keto caramel then freeze to make homemade ice cream
