As some that cooks eggs alot you could use a good amount of butter for the same effect and its less dangerous and wasteful of the olive oil.

Though I’m sure many like crispy eggs, I never did. I would go off to Catholic school and my mother would make me over easy eggs on toast sandwich with bacon and ketchup. Absolutely delicious.

Cook eggs like that, but I use bacon fat! Like him, my grandpa taught me. When Dad and I went hunting, that was an every morning breakfast on sourdough bread and bacon!

Bring back the crispy egg

In the UK dippy eggs are boiled eggs, in the shell; in eggs cups with soldiers (cut up lengths of toast) dipped in, though. I feel our phrase makes more sense

Omg! So many complaints, but how many people tried this technique? The eggs come out perfect and delicious, you can even do it in a stainless steel pan with less oil. That’s how I do it. The olive oil is fine because it’s done so quickly. The pan gets hot enough first, oil is only in for very short period.

Just use less oil if you think he’s using too much.

I’m sure that’s amazing I have to try it sometime. I remember. As young a child as I remember being, always loved eggs. Mainly scrambled. My Grandma I didn’t get to see very often that lived up north offered be poached eggs which I had never heard of. Absolutely amazing on some quality bread with lots of black pepper. It blew my mind!
