NPCs in Project Zomboid!

Last time I played with NPCs was when you needed the mod subpar survivors to make the NPCs actually damage zombies and each other, and it was hilarious... I made my base at the Rosewood fire station and I'm just chilling upstairs watching Life and Living when I hear a door open downstairs, I go there and find an NPC walking around ignoring me completely, and He says something along the lines of "this looks good, I will make this my base!" and I was ready to throw hands, he then started to barricade all the windows and decided he's actually welcome to stay lmao

I use them as distractions. Never fighting with them. Been pushed into hords to many times

Normally, I love these NPC's, definitely fun to play with, but I had an incident where my four survivor NPC friends pushed me into a door I just opened cause they panicked, getting me killed. Grr...

Hey y’all, I got a question. I play on steam deck and everytime I find one of them I try getting them and select them to get them on my team, and it rarely lets me select them. I rapidly press interact (X) and try to select them while following them and they never stop moving nor lets me select them. In rare cases I can, but it takes 10 minutes of straight following to just simply getting them to join. Please someone tell me there is an easier way of recruiting them with steam deck.

i find the npc mod awesome but i have a very big issue with it:


sometimes when going on F6 time speed your game might occasionally crash. Not only that but sometimes the crash might cause your character to go back in time a bit. The same sometimes happens when you die and leave the game.
