Even if you are an ex-Navy Seal and in perfect health what makes you think you can operate over there without the US military behind you? You've got no back up, no intel, no language skills or interpreter. Why do you think you can wander into a war zone and be special?
Those people have no food, no money, no weapons or ammo. They're sending family out of the region and giving their own people priority.
If you go there intentionally and expect to stand at the head of the line because you're American and have some combat training you're misinformed. They got all the special forces they need right there and THOSE guys speak the language, in fact the 3-5 languages that are part of that region.
AND they are not under the illusion that they're special as a birth right. The US state department can't help you if you side against Russia in a war all by yourself. Or even with one or two or a hundred others who think they're fighting fascism.
YOU ARE FIGHTING big MONEY, big OIL, and trillions of dollars worth of Halliburton, and Raytheon and Motorola PROFIT.

Two points
1. This in no different from how the USA treated Europeans that joined the taliban. They went to gitmo and got tortured. In fact, there’s some lady now who’s facing life for teaching the taliban. She didn’t even shoot Americans like these guys.
2. Russia declined a prisoner trade for that WNBA player for an arms dealer. Ain’t no way they exchanging them straight up. It will be a “3 way trade”. That arms dealer in America, that Russian soldier sentenced to death in Ukraine and 3 Russian officers. And Ukraine has to do it. What they gonna tell us no? After $40b? Imo, I specifically target these American “volunteers”. They’re worth 3-4 to 1. Release 1 American, Ukraine releases 3-4 Russians in return. Imagine how fast the American people would turn on Ukraine if they said no. I wouldn’t be shocked if Russia asked for 10 soldiers released for those 2 Americans
