Immigration are far to soft and its this attitude that has led to the errant situation in the UK. Any travellor that has come to the UK with bogus documentation needs to be immediately returned to where they came....No ifs or buts.

Seems like a weird rule to release someone who has no travel documents and can't prove they legally entered the UK.

If he entered illegally, he'll know he's likely to be deported. Its no surprise he absconded.
