I’d like to take a moment to thank my dad for instilling self accountability, preparation, and planning skills when it comes to traveling in our family. Showing up to the airport 4 hours early with tsa precheck to make sure your gate exists really does pay off 🙃😂

When learning to drive my father said “Always drive ahead of your car and be prepared for the unexpected”. A life lesson that applies to everything.

I don't have the people skills to handle this well. Mad respect to anybody paid to do it.

It amazes me how entitled passengers always find a way to blame the airline, even when it's their fault.

That crazy lady at the checkout needs to have her ticket refunded, no way would i allow her to fly with that demeanor.

My father's hobby was people watching at airports. When he detected tension, he would talk to those involved. He had a knack for calming people down. He was like an airport whisperer.

Curtis..” us English don’t ever complain, we just sit back and take it for granted their will a plane”
That’s the funniest line on this WHOLE SERIES! Dude, they made a whole award winning series off of English people whinging and moaning !!! 🤣

At least 80%of the issues are the result of POOR PLANNING by the customer...ie: arriving too late at the airport, assuming they can get any seat they need at the drop of a hat, packing carelessly then blaming the airport for making them re-pack, bringing on items which are dangerous on a flight and not allowed. and on and on. I repeatedly see A BIG bunch of babies who do not take responsibility for their negligent behavior, whatever it is. I take my hat off to the airline professionals who handle these brats of all ages, with their offensive mouths, often inebriated and hostile language, and more, with undeserved empathy, concern and generosity of spirit. Helplessness and tears in the airport do not impress me. I have travelled internationally for 30 years, every year, until COVID...I spend a lot of time preparing for each trip, and consider it my job to pack properly and arrive early, if not just on time. So tired of these helpless whiners, trying to manipulate everyone else to take care of them.

I never understand people who end up in airports with no money or credit card in the event of emergencies.

You are in a foreign country, and you are expected to be on stage performing in your home country in 6 hours??! Why didn't you leave for home a day early? The two gals expecting free tickets is ludicrous.

I laughed so much after the guy moaned so much about having to queue for over an hour and tried to get a final pompous dig in but the airline lady got the last laugh when she pointed out he had left his son behind 🤣🤣🤣

If you are foolish enough to travel thousands of miles away with no idea how you are getting back then you have absolutely no right to free air travel to get home.

it’s almost never the aircraft, train or shuttle that disappoints travelers, nor is it the operator or carrier but ill-behaved passengers on board or in lines injecting negative emotions. Traveling with style means taking your situation seriously, staying on top of the game, planning ahead & treating crew & staff with the respect they deserve. And believe me, it pays off. You’ll learn to see opportunities & appreciate your surroundings.

The tragic thing about this is that the two "contest" women, with no money, credit cards or tickets, have actual children they're responsible for.

Many years ago, we were at Atlantis in the Bahamas - 3 families with 11 people total. The 5 kids were 6-12. My mother in law booked a bus tour the last day. Bus broke down. We got to the airport with time to spare before boarding but we lost our seats by checking in so close to flight time. They tried to get 11 people to volunteer to give up their seats but only 4 did, so my brother and sister in law and nieces got on that plane. We 5 got on the next one and my in laws had to spend the night and catch one the next day. Guess what we did not do. We did not act like petulant children and we all got home, albeit later than planned and we were an example to our kids on how to respond to less than ideal circumstances

1979 I and three friends missed our plane returning home from London England to Calgary Canada (totally my fault). Were told it would be $300. We had $35 between the 4 of us. I cried one tear, the counter attendant felt horrid, wrote out 4 tickets and told us not to tell anyone. I was 19 yrs old, am 62 yrs now. I guess I can tell everyone now.

Love watching these! I used to watch these as a kid and they make me so nostalgic. Back when life was simple! Crazy to think Debbie and Richard would now be 20 years older, I wonder if they're still together
