I'm so happy this clip is still circulating. This is lovely. Not only is trooper Ellis just flat out gorgeous, the lad has a wicked sense of humour(that side eye with the ALMOST smile always makes me chuckle) and carries out his duties with real panache. It's obvious that he cares about the horses, he always stops for a soft word and a pat.... and sometimes a cheeky smooch lol. He's a credit to his regiment and I'm so happy that he's SO popular not Only for his looks(tho yes I know, they're hard to overlook....) That lad could open bottles with those cheekbones😂, but also for his behaviour, his kindnesses, and just his "presence". Some people really just do have that little bit extra, and the way this young man can hold the attention of a crowd is kinda magical. Well done Ellis, you deserve all the admiration that people give you lad.

No wonder this is his favourite guard. He shows up and straightens our the reins and all so the horse is more comfy. So to say thanks he gives a little nudge and the guard gave a light wee beck on the horses nose !! Makes me so happy and so proud.😋😋

There is definitely a bond between this horse and the guard. You can see it. The horse recognizes the guard immediately and keep an eye in him throughout his time in front. He even kisses the horse. Wonderful. Beautiful horse. ❤🐴
