Thanks Alex. For me, it's all about comfort. No tension anywhere standing over the ball gets me close or in 99% of the time.

I never gave much thought to grip changes until seeing your video. Eager to try something different than my left below right. Thanks

I've just taken delivery of my new putter Alex. It's only 33 inches long and it's 1 degree upright. I putt left hand low and getting the right length putter and a pistol grip has been night and day on how I hold it. I'm so excited to get it out on the course in competition.

Recently I got an Odyssey O works #1 tank blade putter. I really like it. I usually is a conventional grip on the putter. I have been playing with the "saw" grip. Mark O'Mara showed Collin Morrikawa this grip. It's a lot like the Tommy Fleetwood claw grip.

It’s great how you pay so much attention to the grip. Wether putter or holding a driver or iron.
Thank you

Tried the claw / pencil grip today putting. Having a face balanced putter it helped keep it the club face straight level and square - worked well for distance for me today

Alex, Recently put a Super Stroke Slim 3.0 grip on putter as I’ve always had to much wrist in stroke, thicker grip has stopped that and the putting mat has really helped with a smoother balanced stroke, thumbs side by side, right below left. Great advice as usual

I use traditional with my right index finger down the shaft for any putt longer than 4'. From 4' in I change to the claw with my right hand.

I struggled all season with putting. I have a standard Winn DryTac putter flat top grip, and I experimented with numerous hand positions, I tried even doing a modified armlock style where I gripped down (had to play the ball off my front foot to make the angles work) but I started to actually get some decent results by reverse gripping where my left hand was below my right. That felt the easiest to control both my pace and line.... I had considered going for an actually armlock style putter, but I may just keep going with the reverse grip a while longer.

Hi Alex, well I must be a very confused golfer as over the years I’ve used 4 completely different hand positions (sometimes all 4 in one round). I guess I put it down to confidence or lack there of. Trying this year to stick with the one and you wouldn’t believe it, it’s the same hand formation that you use. I feel that I have slightly more control and confidence. It may just be a placebo thing and may change. Thanks for my favourite wake up videos. 👍😎🇦🇺

Alex I am experimenting with a Long Putter (Side Saddle Stroke/Face on Putting). First, are they Legal Strokes? Two, would you discuss putting with long putters and belly putters in reference to the new rules governing them. Thanks for posting another great video

I use the pencil grip on fast greens & within 5 or 6 feet. Orthodox for distance!

Putting is one of the best parts of my game. Right below left. Feet still, planted. I rock a nice swing toward my target line. When are you coming to California ?

Good process Alex. Unfortunately, I’m one of sad stories that could (and have done many times) fine tune the putter, the grip product and the grip and putt excellently on the practice green and yet as soon as I face a put of any consequence on the course - the yips show up! Notwithstanding therapy - I’ve found that the claw grip (or variations) is the only grip that keep the dreaded yips at bay! Keep up the great content!

so many grips in a game. one on the tee off, in the fairway, roughs and on the green. don't forget shaft shapes....and how to putt using the hybrid.

Palm up with the trail hand and neutral with the gloved hand is the best way to putt for me

Just put a SuperStroke 5.0 on the putter this week after never using anything other than the old school grip

Have not played yet but was draining putts all week on the practice green once I got to grips with the awkward look of it

As for holding the club left hand and right hand don't touch and right index finger steadies the shaft by pointing down It

The new grip on the club I like as being so big I put more hands on the club as a fault I have with putting is lack of pressure in my hands on the club e.g. I grip the club top loosely at times causing it to jerk about
