Oh Corie, this is great. I have to try this. I am no artist or even doodler by any stretch of the imagination. I've always wanted to try but as usual I stop myself from even trying because I would never be able to do it. New Year's resolution - I've got to stop that!! I got a huge compliment on the ornament you showed me how to make with the trees. I had seen it in the store and was sure I could never duplicate it. My friend loved the simplicity of the drawing and I even did a 2nd one with evergreen trees. She loved both of them. See how you emboldened me? Hi Corie! Thank you for the great video. You did a great job lettering for us! It appears to take a lot of patience and dedication to the project to have a successful outcome. Patience with yourself is a key element. Thank you for the reminder to be kind to ourselves, it helps! Technique and practice is what I need before I attempt to tackle a project of this type! I used to have a lettering book, like the one you showed us, but unfortunately I didn't take advantage of studying it before it got misplaced. I now wish I had!
