Kenya and Rwanda signed the Economic Partnership Agreements with the European Union in Brussels. The Kenyan delegation, which was led by Trade and Industrialisation Cabinet Secretary, Adan Mohamed, and which includes the Principal Secretaries, Betty Maina and Chris Kiptoo, had left Nairobi on Tuesday night in an urgent mission to ensure that Kenya maintained its duty free access to the EU after the 1st of October, which will mark the expiry of the deadline for conclusion of the trade deal.

NTV's Zeynab Wandati spoke to the Principal Secretary in charge of the East African Community, Betty Maina, on what the Brussels signatures mean for Kenya and the EAC.
