I am almost done watching the video but had to pause it to highlight this talking point from Ben. "We should focus on empowering the poor, not income inequality" I am paraphrasing but thats an amazing quote and talking point from Ben. I use to be a Dem from NYC but most "progressives" or dems think Ben is all about money, businesses, and fuck everyone you are on your own, but hearing him mention empowering the poor so that they can get out of that financial burder is very pleasing to hear. I know Ben has an audience and a gimmick to uphold but listening to him on this issue was a good thing. NYC during covid showed me that Socialism will lead to communism in a heartbeat and I want no part of that at all.

The only thing man has been able to equalize and distribute to everyone equally is poverty and misery. Every attempt to redistribute prosperity has always lead to mass murdering of the people along with equalizing poverty and misery. Of course the unsung truth that is never talked about is that there are always a group at the top living it up.
So the question becomes do you want to live in a system where there is no upward mobility at all and all you have to look forward to is poverty and misery? Or do you want a system that allows people to prosper based on their hard work and talent? Because in both systems you have the elite/wealthy.
