Horseshoe Ridge solo WILD CAMP - Brecon Beacons - Pen Y Fan - Wales

Scott takes an overnight solo wild camp, testing out his new to him winter tent a Terra Nova Voyager and stove an MSR Whisperlight. He hikes the Brecon Beacons horseshoe ridge walk. Taking in the mountains Cribyn, Pen y Fan and Corn Du.

Hi Scott. I'm new to the wild camping and have been watching loads of you tube videos, but I have to say mate I am really enjoying your videos. I am quite familiar with the Brecon Beacons and Snowdonia as I have done loads of day hikes but have only wild camped a few times with a mate. I have now got some new gear ready to go so will be doing some solo wild camping. Keep the videos coming and hopefully I will bump into you on the beacons one day..

Worth getting a quality tent. I went with the wild country duolite. It's quite heavy, but built like a bunker. So good I went and got the duolite tourer for bicycle touring, cos it'll fit two bikes in the porch.
