Honestly I like the concept of the Wandering Trader. Many Minecraft players I know only look at the game at a technical standpoint, but I like the idea of a Villager mob traveling the world with a random assortment of items he obtained from the places he’s been, and he has pets! I always get excited when I see one pop up in a Village or near my house. I want the devs to add tents that you can randomly stumble across in forest biomes where the Wandering Trader will just be chilling while he has his Llamas tethered to a poll or just in their own little enclosure, or have a boat out in the water not too far from them if they happen to spawn near a coastline. It’d give the world you play in a little more depth. I can appreciate things added just for the sake of aesthetic.
