How to improve your horses jump using V poles over an oxer. V Poles on an Oxer are slightly different from the V Poles on a Vertical. The difference is that they go on the back pole and not on the front pole. You can however put them on the front pole like a vertical, but you do need to be aware though, horses tend to back themselves off from V Poles on the front pole, and they may struggle to clear the back pole. So be careful if you put them on the front pole, you don’t want your horse to lose confidence over oxers.
