This was one of the first videos I did. I may do another for better clarification at some point, but I hope it helps: ). Let me know if you have any questions or videos you would like to see in the future !

I'd glad I watched this video, I think I'm being taught to open the reins too much when turning the horse.

First online trainer I have found that actually has videos describing what the heck you all mean when you say engage your seat 😅 Never understood why trainers on here seem to want to hold onto this info if they actually want to help people ride well. Many of us are trying to do research before going to a trainer and getting a horse. Thank you

The video quality is so better than most horse riding lessons on YouTube.

I'm going to mount a horse for the first time tomorrow and I'm trying to find as many videos as I can, this helped very much, thank you! Also that horse you're riding is gorgeous!

Edit: The horse riding went well and I cantered my first time ever riding a horse! The instructor said that I'm a natural and that I'm really good :D

Very helpful tips I become very interested in horses 49 years old I found that it's very good sport and helps my body to get more flexible but it take me some time to enjoy the ride thanks again

Returning to riding after a couple of decades and have genuinely forgotten the aides! Yours is the first video I've seen that actually goes into the use of the seat and not just a 'kick along' style. Thank you!!!

The fist tip I ever got for steering is just to "look to where you want to go" and I never understood why but now I do.

Read some on these comments and laughed! I've been riding 5 decades, and I feel like I'm just now learning to ride thanks to wonderful, easy to understand videos like this.

Yes, that helped me so much!!! I’m super beginner with horseback riding and I had it all wrong 😩 I thought I engage my right hip/core/leg when I want the horse to turn RIGHT and vice verse. The poor horse lmao 🤦🏻‍♀️ getting such mixed signals.

I just discovered your channel and I have to say I really like the way you explain things. I like the way you acknowledge the importance of the rider energy in our riding. I have seen lot of video on the subject but you are so far the best at demonstrating what you say in my opinion. I am impressed with your lunging video. The communication between the horse and you is beautiful. I have seen other lunging video that's basically the horse getting scared of the movement and running in a way and then being scared or intimidated in running the other way. Your way is much more aligned with the way I hope to be able to ride. Thank you !

A few years ago, I fell off of a horse and I was scared to even trot on a horse. This was very helpful to me. I have my first lesson tomorrow
