I do volunteer wildlife rehab, and once a couple years ago, we had a pelican that had gotten injured while tangled up in some fishing line. He was simultaneously hilarious and terrifying. Their wingspans are longer than I am tall. Every day I worked I would take the hose over to clean out his enclosure and he would chase me down and try to eat the hose. Thankfully, the hose looked tastier than I did and most of the time he'd just run along behind me, snapping at the trailing end.
