Powershell is very powerful but how many people use it? It has a steep learning curve

When I tried to upgrade using the downloaded installer package, once the colourful install dialogue started the only options I was presented with were uninstall or repair as though the latest version was already installed so I chose the repair option. However Powershell still reports its version as 5 not the latest 7. Have you any idea what the problem could be? Thanks.

Dear sir method 1 followed and installed but when I checked through terminal admin it shows 5 also message new version available download and install
But when I enter through terminal it shows 7 😮. !! ?? Pls guide me how to resolve 🙏
