I wish you were my doc. They gave me subs after even telling them that I was on street fent 8hr ago. I wasn’t even suggesting the suboxone, next thing I know instant precipitated withdrawl. Constant need to move my legs, sweating profusely yet shivering, extreme anxiety/claustrophobic feeling that I never even knew was possible. It lasted 4 days! I will never forget it, I have PTSD

If you tapered methadone to 5ml.. Why would you then go on 8mg of Buprenorphine!!!??? Maybe one dose of 4mg split into doses across a couple of days then stop completely. But to taper so low on methadone to only replace it with daily 8 or even 4mg of Buprenorphine just seems like absolute madness to me…

Unless you want to have another ruthless addiction to buprenorphine of course.. Then stay on it by all means.

Hmmm. I waited 5 whole days (unsure what I am getting on the street, likely all fentanyl). I took 2mg, and within an hour I am in the most horrendous withdrawal of my life. I have to say i was not feeling terribly bad after the 5 days before i took the suboxone but i figured that 5 days would have been plenty. I was SO wrong. I should have just waited it out as long as I possibly could have. Even then, who knows what would have happened? Now I am terrified to take anything more than <1mg of suboxone. I hope i can ingest enough over ten days to fill my receptors without that awful hell of precipitated withdrawal. What is even more cruel is that if you dont know its coming, and are expecting relief from suboxone, the kind you got when you were doing heroin, and waited 24 hours, but have no stash to save yourself, you are in for some big time hell on earth.

I’d love some help. I am on Buvidal injections every 4 weeks. Last week I was unable to have my injection because my doc was unavailable. I was into my fifth week. I stupidly took a small amount of Tramadol to release withdrawal. I have my Buvidal injection yesterday. I felt good that night but woke up this morning in immediate intense withdrawal. I have since had 4mg of Suboxone and am feeling relatively stable. Was what I experience precipitated withdrawal? And, now that I have stabilised, will by buvidal start working properly again without the Suboxone?

Dr. Philip -
I had been on suboxone for several years. Miracle drug for me.
I broke my ankle and leg several months ago (approx 2 and 1/2 months) - after surgery, my pain was unbearable. Got in touch with the wrong people, and got back into the wrong habits. I am determined to overcome this obstacle and resume regular life. Can you please recommend an at home “tapering-upwards plan” for suboxone (I have plenty on hand, I’m terrified to start them)?
I would truly be grateful for any information. I am terrified of precip withdrawal - it’s not a joke….
Continue use while inducting suboxone at a low dose, raising the MG every day, and on a certain day completely abstaining from fent?
Again, any information would truly be appreciated.
Thank you, so much.

Can send rovers to Mars but can’t figure a way around PW

The whole wait till your about to tap out thing doesn’t matter in my case. I feel like I’m in full blown withdrawal and it still doesn’t work.

I never understood why you would go to the difficulty and expense of administering IV vitamins when the oral bioavailability of tablets is sufficient to get literally every single vitamin into systemic circulation

Would it be possible to use Subutex until the fentanyl leaves the body then switch to Suboxone since Subutex doesn't have noloxone

OMG, I'm dying! Please please please anyone that knows. I did my last two beans, yesterday at like 9pm, I'm that person that can do two, at 8pm and be fine until 2-3pm the next day before I start feeling "uncomfortable" well, I went to ED tonight at 4 and she could see my symptoms, I was honest, I have nothing to gain or lose by lying, I'm fully employed and buy my own junk, I made that choice for my grandchildren, if only for now, I pray I can say, "I did it for me" but that's lie. They gave me a 4mg at 5:45 and I felt fine, my symptoms was subsiding and then they gave me another 4 mg at 6:15 and by time I took my script in and got home, I'm in the worst withdrawal of my life and I quit methadone and that wasn't anywhere near as bad as I feel now. Questions are, how long until the presip withdrawal is done, or should I take more Suboxone, my head feels detached from my body and luckily my husband is a saint and is just trying to keep positive thoughts in my head. Also, if this put me in full blown withdrawal, will it go away sooner? Like if I was doing this cold turkey, it would take me two days to get this bad, did I skip over a couple days?

ive been on 30ml down from 90 for a while noe, but i get it every other day. So for the last 6 months ive been taking both bottles at the same time and then having nothing the next day. Im due to start a suboxone detox soon but my key worker thinks im taking 30 a day when really its 60 every other day. On week ends i dont have anything on monday or sunday and its been that way for 6 month to. Here in the uk you have to go 3 days without anything and then they start you on subs, what do you think i should do, I intentionally took both bottles so i would have to go without on the other days. Will my body have started withdrawing enough, i feel really bad some days already, but nothing like pw.
