Helldivers 2 Crash Fix

Hey everyone. This is what I did to fix my Helldivers 2 game from crashing. So far I haven't had it crash since I made these changes. Hopefully it works for you too.

Arrowhead Games are a AA studio trying to please a AAA audience of players. I'm sure the crashes will be fixed, just give them time. This is a nice temporary fix though

It's always my first game that keeps crashing... It's annoying cause I'm always with a good group

firewall settings - advanced - outbound - create new rule (choose port) - write 443. This is also apparantly a fix

Crashed twice yesterday in the same mission in the same spot. I will try this later tonight and hope it works.

I played the game for like 40 mins then i got to leave then boom crash

I did this and didn't crash the next game. hopefully it stays!

my crashes stop after i turn off the steam ingame overlay (special for helldivers 2 in the properties too) after i turned it on again it crashes again. so maybe its the ingame overlay
Edit: i checked my BIOS again and found that XMP Profil 1 is active (dont know why...) i turned it off and tada it works... after that change i also clean install the entire game.

Are these options based on something or did you just turned random stuff off for the sake of it to check? Sadly I can't turn off crossplay since I play with a friend on PS5 and the other setting doesn't even make sense why it would crash the game anyway.

Anyone know how to fix "black screen when loading up into the game?" here is what going on "Enter steam I click "play" and then I load into the game but my screen is black, and I'm hearing the game volume in the background, my key's still work fine I was able to skip the cut scene but I couldn't see shit, and after a few seconds when I load into the game...** ether my laptop freeze's a bit or my game is crashes to my desktop? anyone have a solution? **

my game has been crashing during the cutscene right when you boot up the game

i did a file check and repair on steam, it works for me

will try this out, as my game, not crashes allot but the servers themselves keep freezing my game and I disconnect from friends game allot

i rage uninstalled because this im going reinstall and try now

Crash at the end of the 40 min games. Seemingly always on difficulty 7+

Are you able to use crossplay if it is off. Otherwise it is not a option for me
