7/20/2024 I was beginning to think all these comments were middle eastern hackers, spammers or f tards but no, I'm a real person and THIS WORKED FOR ME. I think it was because i change my graphics card setting type/brand and couldn't get back into the game to change it back. I deleted game guard to no avail (it just downloaded back anyway) then tried this hoping if whatever i messed with in settings was the problem trying to reset it. it indeed WORKED, im heading to the steam forms to share this intel so people can fix their black screen start up and crash problems. ill be tagging a link to this video if i can.
