It's crazy to think that Satan has whispered to me just like this, yet there have been many a time where I have succumbed to his temptations. I try to always bear this scene in mind and pray for strength. The Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.

This was the closest the entire existence of humanity was to eternal damnation, and we all collectively gasped and held our breathes when He said "Let this cup pass from Me", and sighed a great breath of relief when he stayed the impossible course. Thank you my King, my Savior, forever.

It’s wild to think that for his entire life, Jesus knew the intense suffering he was going to go through, the burden he would carry. It would be more heavy and painful than anyone else in history had ever experienced, or would ever experience. He could have changed his mind and destroyed the world for its sin, and it would have been completely justified. Yet out of his unending love for us, he died on that cross, praying for the forgiveness of his enemies as he suffered there.

Our god experienced all of the pain, destitution, and temptation that come with being a human.Only then did he instruct us to follow him by taking up our own crosses.We cannot possibly complain to the all-powerful god about our pain because he experienced it all.
