What I love about this passage is that, God in human form could have dealt with this temptation as God in Spirit but that would have defeated the purpose. The Lord was teaching us how to fight temptations as humans. Beautiful indeed.

Everytime I feel tempted, I'd quote all these three things Jesus told to the devil. The temptation fades away immediately every single time. It's exactly as described in the Bible: "resist the devil and he will flee from you".
