Known for his appearances on the Joe Rogan Experience, Rubin Report and, most recently, Jordan Peterson's podcast, Prof. Gad Saad is a world-renowned Canadian evolutionary psychologist at Montreal's Concordia University. He also hosts ‘The Saad Truth’ YouTube channel.

In this episode of "So What You're Saying Is..." (#SWYSI), Prof. Saad discusses his best-selling new book, "The Parasitic Mind: How Infectious Ideas Are Killing Common Sense". This fascinating work exposes how an epidemic of idea pathogens are spreading like a virus and killing common sense in the West. Thank goodness for the New Culture Forum, I love this show. It is like a voice of sanity in the echoing halls of a raging loony bin. I have a friend from college who got totally paracited. She used to bee a fun girl. I tried to renew contact with her recently and she was very enthusiastic, but it is impossible to even have a normal conversation with her, it's like she is not even there anymore, all that comes out is repeated woke dogma. It's actually quite terrifying. I stopped answering her emails altogether. The problem with these zombies is that even if you tried to tell them how brainwashed they are, they would just perceive the situation as you being the one with the problem. Because it must be some lack of education or due to some bias that you must have that you don't "get it" or something. There is no escape hatch in their prison-mind. Also if you tried to explain to them why they might be wrong about one thing or another, the task would be endless, because each erroneous view has its foundation upon another erroneous view. So you'd have to go all the way back to the beginning, which is not feasible. All you can do is walk away.

Great interview, although I disagree about the idea that all the bad things come from good intentions. Most of the people who get caught up in them might have good intentions, but I'm sure that many of those who initiate them do not.
