I am surprised by the fact between the omniverse's flashbacks and alien force, ben have not been killed by animo or zombozo for revanche

I always assumed it was because of Ben's DNA change through puberty, as well as being shut down for 5 years and needing to readjust.

It probably wanted to unlock the new aliens that he was going to get in in the series and I guess and I guess the creator of the Omnitrix knew there was going to be some bigger problem and said ben need an upgrade

If u wonder why it change, it’s bc he got older, each time he gets older the omnitrix gets like upgraded or something(I think)

Well that's cause Azmuth has given ut an update at that time Omnitrix was in its Deactivated/Turn-Off mode it couldn't update but as soon as Ben turned out on it got updated and recalibrated as per the new code.

The five year gap would explain how Ben got the command codes for deactivation and self destruct. Most likely thanks to Azmuth.

The recalibrated omnitrix's design is definitely not as good as the OG

I loved swampfire, chromastone, brainstorm and big chill in the new 10.
Other's were "meh"
Humangasaur a giant lizard, that can grow giantic.
Spidermonkey, a fourarms like alien in exchange has better instinct less strenght.
Goop, just use a gun and hit the UFO.
Jetray, until i saw that he can go hyper space he was the worst one for me.
Alien x is just Alien x.
I hate echo echo a lot, not cuz he's a bad alien but cuz he's just a way better ver. Of ditto, which made ditto completely useless.
Same can be said about brainstorm, but he's too likable with his amazing narcissistic voice, electrokinesis, high IQ+ he can walk on walls, webs, breath underwater.
His weakness is that he's overconfident and might be a little less intelligent then greymatter's.
