Omnitrix: Apparently gives Ben, not the aliens he wants, but the ones he needs.

Tetrax says that he’s never had a cold when Ben is sick as Diamondhead. This leads me to think that the fusion with Ben’s DNA allows any species in the Omnitrix to get sick, so and Upgrade and Ghostfreak wouldn’t be immune. Here’s what I would do, personally.

Upgrade: Constantly releasing electrical discharge and struggles to keep his form, making it harder to stay bonded to machines.

Ghostfreak: Stays intangible all of the time and runs the risk of sneezing out of a possessed body.

Any upgrade symptoms could most like cause him to emit computer viruses that would infect and corrupt any tech Ben possesses causing it to glitch or malfunction both while and after Ben was connected to it

Would be cool if Upgrade got some virus type theme after getting sick since you know, catching a virus = getting sick, could be like random stuff happening whenever he upgrades something

*Diamondhead:*
Would have a sickly yellow color, crystal constructs would be highly fragile, can instead control fine dust made of crystal shards to cut and encase with.

*XLR8:*
Muscle spasms would cause involuntary movement, legs would hardly be able to stop running, visor would have trouble going up and down.Wrinkly, greyish blue skin. Constant muscle movement would make him tire out over time.

*Grey Matter:*
Swollen, pulsing head, headaches and concentration issues. Veiny, bloodshot eyes.

*Stinkfly:*
Uncontrolled slime generation, swollen eyestalks and eventually body, has to repeatedly empty them to be able to see and decrease his overall swelling. Viscosity randomly changes from watery, to oily, to instantly drying glue. Massive swollen body now gives him more mass and durabilty, and a huge swollen tail as a stronger weapon, but can no longer fly when swollen. Would basically turn into Heimlich at the end of A Bug's life, just a fat larva with tiny useless wings.

*Ripjaws:*
Bacterial infection would cause a parasite to form in his mouth, acting as a living tongue, inspired by the tongue-eating isopod, often found in real fish. He could shoot it forward like a bobbit worm to bite, trap enemies and pull them closer. Teeth would occasionally fall out, but always be replaced, like a shark.

*Upgrade:*
Glowing wiring pattern would flicker like an old lightbulb. Whenever he 'sneezes' he would launch a bit of mass from his own body, essentially creating a smaller separate entity, which can control smaller machinery independently, but doesn't always follow Upgrade's command, as if suffering from a computer virus. When the Omnitrix deactivates, all pieces merge back into before de-transformation.

*Ghostfreak:*
Would switch from tangible go intangible constantly. Occasionally leaks glowing ectoplasm, giving away his position when invisible. Eyes highly sensitive to light.

umm the omnitrix is acting like ben when his sick example in ben 10 rebooted ben 10k rebooted was weak and slow the omnitrix reacts the same way as ben do

Azmuth did intend for the omnitrix to allow species to understand each other so experiencing equivalent symptoms may be a feature.

I think one of the best examples of this link is the one episode of Omniverse in which he gets skin problems due to swampfire blooming. This isn’t Ben who has a problem so his aliens get it too but rather a new life stage for his alien DNA sample and even though he’s not transformed into it, he gets affected to. You could argue it’s only after effects due to his transformation into swampfire and the skin problems getting worse every time he does but the episode starts with one big one in his face before he transforms so I’d say he’s affected just because swampfire is in his watch ( I absolutely adore this feature. Makes the watch more alive and really something to connect the species of various alien, rather than just, , look I have a very realistic Halloween costume every time I press on my watch, , )

It could be that another theory is that he temporarily merges with the aliens dna with his own but unlike the soultrix (a fandom Omnitrix that he coverd) he gains 100% of the dna embedded to him for a short time

The symptoms we see are immune system responses. So maybe the omnitrix is doing the same thing with the aliens to preserve Ben’s health?

For XLR8 likely he wouldn't change too much, he'd be like Wild Mut and be pretty useless due to cold giving people headaces and making you dizzy, so he wouldn't be able to run at this top speed without feeling dizzy and crashing into things

What I would add if Toepick got sick: He will have grey/gray skin. And also when his helmet opens, he's unable to scare his victims.

Heres the thing about omnitrix
The omnitrix is a form of syringe that injects one's body with the aliens' DNA and genes. However, that isnt what DNA rlly is. you cant transfer DNA and become someone. Also, to clear things off, the omnitrix is completely linked to ben, so the omnitrix is considered ben's body. Unless it is separated(f.e. when vilgax and kevin used the machine to separate the two). Which causes the omnitrix to PRINT similar copies of ben's dna into the aliens' dna. Making the DNA having ben's blood while taking form of the aliens. Thats why EVERY aliens shown have different fearures. F.e. when gwen had different features compared to ben. So did matured ben, the aliens look a little different. And i think this theory is somehow related to why reboot has different designs too? I dont study biology 🥱

Anyways, the dna then travels into the whole body of ben. Which is why SOME parts of his body transform before the other. F.e. his facial features remain the same for some period of time when he transforms into an alien.

Not only that, the omnitrix has the ability to print out blood samples, meaning it already has "benjamin tennyson" as an 'alien' in the playlist. But it never shows because how tf do you transform into yourself? The printing system of the blood cells will also be related to blood type O, A, B and AB. Which means the omnitrix can potentially give out blood to lack of bloods.

The omnitrix has a 'syringe' type of needle into the user's veins. Which makes it easier to give out the DNA.

The onnitrix is similar to 'nails' in a sense. As shown that ben is harmed when removing the omnitrix from his arm. Which means the omnitrix is some kind of parasite-technology that is half sentient in a way? And attaches to anyone(not anything) that reaches a specific distance.

The omnitrix also reacts to any events that it is damaged. Meaning some parts of the omnitrix is VERY IMPORTANT for the DNA transfer to properly work
