This exact laptop is on sale with free shipping on the HP USA website right now. I got one for my partner with RAM upgraded from 8GB to 16GB and the SSD storage upgraded from 256GB to 512GB + a cute HP wireless mouse. It’s great value and has rather decent build quality for the sale price of <$600 (incl. FL tax)

The laptop was custom built at HP’s factory in China and arrived a couple of days ago.

I set it up for her with a clean install of Windows 11 Pro Premium, Office 2021 Pro and NordVPN.

It boots up fast, runs great, and the webcam video quality is quite fine although not as impressive as video from higher end webcams.

The display isn’t as impressive as is the one in my HP Pavilion Plus 16 — which I also got in the same purchase.

But given that all she does is some online lessons, have an occasional video meeting, some online activity that requires a keyboard and occasional document editing (once a year) this laptop is a great buy and will probably last as long as her 13 year old Dell Inspiron that it is replacing 😂

I love this laptop i used it with the 8gb ram i played roblox on almost max graphics and it works really well i had an older laptop with an i5 8400H and i use it for gaming and it works well. I also play fortnite and phasmophibia and it works amazing!

i bought this laptop 2 years ago at walmart , , it never over heated on me before, , always sat on my computer desk, , the cpu fan stopped working and one morning i went to turn on my laptop it would would not turn on, its not hot in my house as i have ac, , so finally went back to the laptop and turns on and gave me a fan warning saying the fan stopped working if you keep using it will over heat and stop working, , i will have to pull it apart since the warrentys gone, , i will have to see what happend to it
