I missed those days when companies used to roll out 1 or 2 model per year but all were built and tested really well. Thaes days its just lego built boxes with every model missing one or two important pieces. No doubt why apple still holds the market.

To be fair they updated it considerably since your video. It now has a full 1920x1080 IPS screen and it's currently on sale at Best Buy for $399. For that price I'd argue it's probably worthwhile.
EDIT: Are you SURE this is the 2021 version? Cause it seems like the older model.

Purchased it. Like it. Good price. I'm not taking it out on the battlefield, so, the casing is sufficient. I'm not depressed or moody, so I can turn on a light to see the keyboard. Battery life is sufficient - I pay my electric bill on time and can plug it in. The display is really very good; I don't need spectacular - if I wanted that: TV!

Decent video! And in min 4:08 the track pad is supposed to do this this pc gives you the option of using the pad like a usb/wireless mouse. So the user can tap to select or press/click in the left/right corner to select.

i think the way this is built wouldn't bother most people on a budget. People who are used to the top of the line would care.

Can the RAM and SSD of this model be upgraded? There are too many comments on amazon saying it can't be done.

These laptops don’t pas the one handed test, causing the upper case to eventually fail and crack. You’ll have to take off the hinge cover and manually unscrew the bolts on the left and right sides to your liking if you want to ensure longevity with a laptop like this.
