Boeing 787s don't use bleed air to start the engines, they use electrical starters. In fact, you could start both engines simultaneously.

Pretty sure the engine starters are electric, so you aren't using bleed air from APU. That also means both engines can be started together

when i start my 787-9 all my panels are black and i cant turn them on

For take off the mcp speed should be set to V2.
For the transponder you can go straight to TA/RA when pushing back.

Starting the engines no need to wait for N2 before fuel control switch is set to RUN. Correct procedure is to set it to RUN as soon as the start switch is set to START you set the fuel control switch to RUN. Then also simulatenous start of both engines ok.

For a bigger plane, the 787 looks a bit easier to fly than the 737. I mean, less complex to get it running.

do anyone know why i´m having problems with the transponder, the lnav and the screens? (problems directly related to the 787 from 4simmers) i don´t know how to eliminate at all that aircraft so that the horizon 787 can work alone, any thoughts?

When flying manually, following no real flight plan, I cannot get the elevator to work once in the air. It's perfectly operational on the ground. The aileron and rudder work perfectly normal once in the air. Baffled with this one!

I can never enter the vref speeds, fms always deletes them as soon as they're entered, assuming a change has been made. The only bug that's been bugging me.

I was having some CTD after downloading this. Wasnt even this plane, but CDT while flying the PMDG 737. So I deleted this and the CTDs quit. Tried two times. Same result.

Anyone else have this issue?

Just purchased the Boeing Yoke pack. Do you use your actual flap handle for setting flaps or the buttons on the yoke? I would like to program the flap handle to set certain flap settings (5/20/30) but can't find direction on how to program this. Anyone?
