Supreme Court strikes down eviction moratorium: What that means for Nevadans

In Washington, a divided Supreme Court struck down the CDC's nationwide moratorium on evictions. So how does this impact people in the Las Vegas valley and are there other protections in place for Nevadans? Reporter Alyssa Bethencourt spoke to a group helping renters and a person on the verge of being evicted to get some answers.

Why is it that people can't pay their rent? I had my hours cut in half and somehow continued pay my rent and my student loan, along with my utilities. I went to Walmart electronics department one evening some guy was talking to his friends saying I'm not sure what I want to get next I'm not used to having all this money. That was the mindset of most people.... it's spending money, not money for paying bills or rent, nobody deserves this but me, me, me!! All I can say is you made your bed!!!
