Mark Destroys the Universe for His Daughter | Invincible REBOOT Explained #invincible #comics #shorts During Invincible’s Reboot Arc we see Mark faced with the decision to either erase his old world and continue restoring balance in this new one or destroying the amazing world he’s been creating for everyone he loves to go back to the one he knew, and when Mark chooses to go back because he wants to be with his daughter, the entity questions him one last time, saying you would allow the countless deaths you could have prevented just to save one life? And Mark replies yes, which ultimately enrages the god as it says Mark was the last hope of the universe, and Mark argues back that this is all ridiculous because this entity has never told Mark what he’s trying to prevent, and has just been vague this entire time, but now after leaving him in this hell it shows him a way back home and wonders why he would take it? Screw you! Finally trying to plead with Mark to make the right decision, the being says is there ANYTHING we could say to make you reconsider? And when Mark says no, it starts to attack him with it’s body likely made of String Theory Strings, latching onto him starting to suffocate Mark in a blinding white light telling him that he’s doomed this world and he’s a disgrace, as Mark feels sorrow filling up in his gut and it starts to get colder and colder, until the light has completely vanished, and Mark looks down saying I can live with that, as he realizes he’s back in the cave and it’s time to head home as Invincible’s Reboot arc ends.

Season 2 of Invincible promises an intriguing plot, with hints from the original comics by Robert Kirkman. Expect the Sequids' scheme to conquer Earth, Titan's crime organization expansion, and Allen's cosmic adventures. Meanwhile, Mark faces challenges with Cecil's methods and the return of Omni-Man to space, potentially reuniting with the Viltrumites. The introduction of Angstrom Levy, a multidimensional villain, seems central to the plot, as indicated by the Season 2 trailer's revelations. This season will delve into multiverse dynamics, introducing Evil Mark and a team of new, yet imperfect, superheroes. With Angstrom Levy as the arch-nemesis, expect an epic clash of powers and dimensions.

Imagine destroying the Universe for your kid. Only for your kid to act unappreciative.

This was pretty much a filler arc in the sense that Mark didn't change as a character and it didnt change his timeline at all except force a timeskip, which could of been done by him falling into a black hole or something,

'Is there anything i could say to convince you?
Yeah, "my eve and my daughter will be here in 30 seconds" would work'

It was an illusion, I think. A test to see if Mark would abandon all that happened to him for a chance to make everything right the second time, and he didnt. He stuck to the life he had because he couldn't imagine a world without his daughter in it.

Considering how his daughter turned out, it was a waste of effort.

Good for Mark. A god that has to depend on others is no god. That entity was just salty because it is powerless to maintain its universe.

What was even the point of this? Just to make mark feel bad for not abandoning his life.
