There was also Native American code talkers in WW1 also.

The future is native. The values and traditions of indigenous people will heal the earth and our hearts. I truly believe this. My grandfather is Ojibwe, and I'm a tribal member through him. I'm mostly white, but lots of tribal culture was carried on in my household. I struggle with mental health and feel like I don't belong because of my skin color. I know many won't accept me because I'm mixed. But the body is less important than the spirit that moves it. All living things are related to each other. We are all family. And when we learn to embrace love, a bright future will appear before us. Your ancestors walk with you. They believe in you. Miigwech! <3

Navajos mostly joined the Marines. Even today alot Navajos choose the Marine Corps over most other branches. Its apart of our history with code talkers.
Tank = turtle or turtle shell
Grenade = potatoe

Diné is who we are!!! Diné Bizaad was illegal for the code talkers to speak as children. Navajo is the term the Spanish conquistadors used to describe my ancestors. Derived from navaja or "pocket knife". Shi eí Diné!!!
