Belos' theme compilation [Owl House OST]

Specifically Belos' second motif! I'd need to compile his main one for a full video.
I missed one instance in this. If you want to hear it it's near the end of "mindscapes reflect the individual" from S2E16. The full OST for the episodes are on YouTube

Composer - Brad Breeck

For those wanting an update, this motif doesn't appear again past Hollow Mind. Hopefully season 3 will rectify that!

I think the quote ‘the child not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel it’s warmth’ fits Belos quite well. Apart from that he chose to kill witches

I believe that Belos’ theme tells a story, because ever other time we hear his theme it gets more sinister.

For example. In would “you like to see how it works” it begins sort of sad and regretful, but the longer it went on the more unnerving it gets.

I believe that Philip regrets what he’s done but believes it’s for the greater good.

I love the music box type of theme that we see with him. It’s off-putting compared to everything else we’ve seen of Belos and gives you a false sense of kindness, just like Belos himself.

OH MY TITAN THANK YOU SO MUCH! Belos's theme is one of my favorites among Brad Breeck's work, and I've been looking for a compilation of the soundtracks for months!

We are born into chaos is probably my favourite version!

I like it when the "right-hand man" character (in this case, Hunter) has the more "in your face "I'm an antagonist"" theme and then the "big bad" (Belos) has a theme like this; somewhat slow, quiet, not *entirely* "evil"-sounding.

Also I'm pretty sure this theme appears in places other than the ones in this video. For example, after Belos' curse meltdown at the beginning of Hunting Palismen you can hear something similar to his theme at the beginning of Eclipse Lake, just without a pause between the first 2 notes and the last 3, and again I'm pretty sure that appears elsewhere as well.

"We are born into chaos" sounds like the kind of song you'd hear when someone descends into madness. Fitting considering that scene was more than likely his first proper outing as Belos rather than Philip, like he's finally truly adopting his insanity. Maybe I'm just reaching though...

"you're going to help me" from elsewhere and elsewhen have a more sinister version of this motif.

I like how for your good buddy belos it's very upbeat because of hootys personality

His theme is kinda sad and eerie, not completely evil but vengeful and intimidating. It fits hims very well I gotta say.

I'd have also included "balderdash" from 2x12 and "he was with us" from 2x16, but it's still a lovable work. Big thanks for this one m8 🛐✨🌈

Have you ever thought about making the soundtrack the theme of the golden guard, the Hunter?

Hi! It's me again from the Collector video. So basically, I don't know if this was a purposeful omission, but the Kid Belos version of the motif actually plays twice in Hollow Mind - once where you have it and once near the end of "Mindscapes reflect the individual". Sorry for stating the obvious if you left it out on purpose because it was too similar or something, but I was back here and just sort of noticed. Also sorry if this came off as condescending; that wasn't my intention. Just trying to lend a hand :)
