Μια αρκετά "περίεργη" είδηση μετέδωσε το Συριακό Παρατηρητήριο Ανθρωπίνων Δικαιωμάτων, που λαμβάνει τις πληροφορίες του, από πηγές του, που βρίσκονται στην ευρύτερη περιοχή της Συρίας, και στην οποία αναφέρεται ότι πύραυλοι εκτοξεύθηκαν από τις δυνάμεις του Διεθνούς Συνασπισμού, που εδρεύουν στο πετρελαϊκό κοίτασμα Al-Omar, και μάλιστα 4 εξ αυτών, εναντίον θέσεων, στις περιοχές Al-Ma'amel και Al-Zift, που βρίσκονται υπό τον έλεγχο της Ιρανικής πολιτοφυλακής και δυνάμεων που πρόσκεινται σε αυτήν.
Αν και στο άρθρο αναγράφεται ξεκάθαρα ότι αυτές τις ημέρες, οι δυνάμεις του Διεθνούς Συνασπισμού, πραγματοποιούν στρατιωτικές ασκήσεις στην περιοχή, οι στόχοι που επιλέχτηκαν και χτυπήθηκαν, τους οποίους μόλις αναφέραμε και που είναι ξεκάθαρα υπό τον Ιρανικό έλεγχο, προκαλούν έντονο προβληματισμό, καθώς θα μπορούσε κάλλιστα να αποτελεί μια ξεχωριστή στρατιωτική επιχείρηση, ώστε να σταλεί και ένα μήνυμα προς τους φιλο Ιρανούς, που αρκετές φορές χτυπούν με ρουκέτες ή drones, τα αμερικανικά στρατεύματα.
Τι τελικά ήταν, επίθεση ή μέρος της άσκησης, ίσως το μάθουμε πολύ σύντομα, καθώς οι Ιρανοί, όταν τους χτυπούν, συνηθίζουν να απαντούν με αντίποινα.
