Wow the father looks like a very responsible person to take his kids and his wife on a dangerous abandoned oil rig😂

When he said "I know a big ass shark when I see one" I could relate to that.

The foundation of all the shark movies started from

JAWS

Jaws was the best I've ever seen.

No computer tricks.

The shark was mechanical.

The #1 shark movie I ever saw. I still watch it today, 2024.

I didn't sleep properly the first time I saw JAWS.

Im a coastal person & I grew up living near the sea & and every time I paddle out to sea or travel on a boat or speed boat, the image of JAWS is in my mind.

Freaky movie, JAWS.

That is how good JAWS is.

When a movie is made & it leaves the thought of it in the mind, that's when one knows how good it is.

🇵🇬👍☺️

It’s rare to find a horror movie where the writing is so bad it immediately goes from horror to comedy.

This movie is no exception.

I like how they showed each family member falling in water in every 5 second interval.

My favourite part of the movie is when Tlaloc yells "it's sharkin' time!"

Imagine living in 2023 and instead making a lovecraftian underwater submarine movie, you decide to make a shark movie for the 100th time

" I know a big ass shark when I see one" Makes me wonder if there are people out there who can't recognize a big ass shark when they see it...

Tlaloc was the Aztec God of water and fertility, and was said to have power over storms. His name means "He who makes things grow".
He was depicted wearing a mask with large eyes, fangs, and green skin. He is associated with such animals as the jaguar, owl, snake, quetzal bird, and butterfly.
Not sure why anyone would associate a shark with Tlaloc. I mean, sure, sharks live in water, but Tlaloc was a life-giving god, and sharks are predators and associated with taking life away. Tlaloc was also not a demon, at least not to the Aztecs (ancient Mexicans). He was not evil, but at the same time, he was not entirely benevolent.
