The moral of this story - never, ever judge a book by its cover. Never judge anyone based on their looks, their caste, their colour, their faith, their gender, their religion. They're human. Just like everyone else is. One good deed goes a long way.

Prejudice is based on presupposing and prejudging something that we actually do not know!

It's terribly absurd.

And yet, it is very common.

Prejudices make us believe that what we presuppose is true, conditioning us in the way we behave when meeting someone. As can be clearly seen in this story.

How important it is to free oneself from prejudices to achieve a more cordial and peaceful society.
