Hey guys thanks so much for watching this one and greetings from Greenland! Just a clarification since there's been some confusion here in the comment section about the timeline of the events: After the previous video we left our 1st attempted overwintering location and sailed to Sisimiut to stock up on shore lines and try this second location.

And obligatory self-advertisement follows... Like you might know these videos are mainly funded by patrons, and as a small thank-you I'm now offering a new perk to patrons: Patrons are one video "ahead", so when a video goes public I'll already release the next video on Patreon (ad-free). That means that the next video in this Greenland series is now already online on my Patreon. Yeah I know many of you are not into that platform and that's all good. I hope this doesn't feel unfair to anyone, if Patreon is not your thing then no worries, all videos will eventually be public here on Youtube.

Cheers,
Juho

As a veteran submarine cook I understand long term self sufficiently; 1 month fresh stuff, 1 month frozen stuff, 1 month canned stuff, then the other stuff.

Your channel is awesome

Just a word of encouragement! I have been a merchant marine captain since the 1980’s and sailed since the 1970’s. I have a 40’ sailboat that I live on part the year. I j😢wish to say I have enjoyed your videos and believe personally that you have the best sailing channel on YouTube. I have more to say but my animal friends are demanding time. Thank you for such a great experience.

Love the content. Love your attitudes. You do extreme stuff without any of the “EXTREME!” posturing we see from other channels. Looking forward to more skiing videos.

It blows my mind someone would choose to be there for the winter. Really quite brave. Fascinating channel, hope winter is/was treating you well!

when i first started watching this guy, had no idea how intrepid he was going to be. you know what i mean, there are a bunch of 'i just bought this boat to refit' videos, but this is way beyond.

I love that your videos show more than just the finished product. And your explanations about “why” are pretty informative. ❤

I lived aboard for a winter near Longyearbyen, Svalbard in 2023. Departed out of Newfoundland. Great solo year on the boat. Now in Nova Scotia and soon headed back to Ponce Inlet, FL.

You certainly have gotten your money's worth out of this boat. So much fun to see your adventures. Tack!

Being tucked in during the gale is so cozy. The definition of "perfect storm" to me.

I'm a born and bred hot country person who has never seen snow or freezing temps but I must admit that is the coziest looking yacht I've ever seen. Seems like a gutsy thing to do but obviously you are cold weather people so know what is needed to survive. Looking forward to watching the progression of the seasons with you, this is something unique to me, I've never seen any yachties do this before, impressive and interesting stuff
