Agree - the cloister trials particularly Bevelle) are the low point of FFX, an otherwise pretty awesome game.
I like that they change up the pacing, but... there must hav ebeen a less clunky way to do it

This is more of a minigame, but dodging 200 lightning strikes was a kicker for me, and collecting Butterflys for the Saturn Sigil was the final straw. I gave up on the Final Fantasy games after that, they don't seem to be getting any better. For some it was the endless padding the FF7 remake is getting. I agree with the FF3 final dungeon, I was always asking myself if I missed a save point?

FF 3s last dungeon is famous for being rather gruesome... on your patience and endurance. I kinda also agree on FF Xs temples, but I do appreciate minigames and puzzles. Then again I am a mad man for not dunking on the robot hands in FF VII remake.
