FAST SKETCHING TIPS - Tutorial for how to sketch a face quickly

Fast sketching tips for sketching really fast portraits. In this video tutorial I will show you how I sketch a face quickly using some simple techniques. This sketch was completed in about 7 minutes using black pastel, compressed charcoal and a charcoal pencil. This is something I'm still experimenting with and hope it have some more time lapse videos available soon.

How long did it take you to learn to sketch like this? Did you take any kind of course? Would you suggest someone who is a complete beginner to just jump in trying to sketch like this, or would you recommend taking a course?
