Elvis Presley is one of the most iconic American performers who ever lived, but for many fans, there are still a good deal of mysteries, tragedies, and strange details to uncover about his life.

His Mississippi upbringing was far from ideal, with his father's attempts to claw the family out of poverty only landing him in jail. Young Elvis' musical ambitions weren't nurtured by his schoolteachers, one of whom told him he simply couldn't sing. But fate worked out in Elvis' favor, and he rose to become the King of Rock and Roll.

From the origins of his first hit "Heartbreak Hotel" to his dalliance with law enforcement to those longstanding rumors that he didn't really die, this is the untold truth of Elvis Presley.

I blame his so-called manager for the last few years of his life being fraught with disappointing shows, prescription drug requirement and the king's obvious boredom with the same old songs performed in the same old venues.
Elvis was a first class human being and a star in every aspect of the word yet his career was mismanaged which ultimately killed him much earlier than if he was better taken care of.
Just my humble opinion for what it worth after the fact.
Much love to all Elvis fans out there!

Elvis changed the world of music. The dumb teacher that failed him was a failure. He made what music is today.

Elvis was a one of a kind given to us by our Lord. He was, is, and will always be the best performer of all time. Nobody can ever replace him. Some may sound a lot like him, but nobody can recreate the charisma that was his alone! We just lost him way to soon. RIP our dear Elvis who loved his fans as much as we loved him! 🙏😇😘😍

I can't say for sure, as I am not trained in Karate, but I did study a similar form, and an 8th degree black belt is a level so high, it is often difficult to find someone that can test you to go further. In one of the comparable forms I studied, we call it Grand Master level. Its impressive, and I had no idea he had achieved such skill.

He was the the singing Orpheus of our time and had the beauty of Apollo. Shame on Priscilla for bad mouthing her ex-husband who gave her everything.

I was born the day Buddy Holly died and I drove into Memphis the day Elvis died. I'd never seen a whole city go into mourning. It was surreal.
