Weird Tech: Cooler Master's Jet Engine CPU Cooler

I recently stumbled across what seems to be a rarity these days, a Cooler Master Jet 4 CPU fan. We've all owned fans that have sounded like an airplane engine, so why not embrace that fact with a cooler that looks like one as well?

Thanks to my Sister for helping with filming - Her Channel:

Thanks for watching :)

An aftermarket cooler that is less efficient than a stock cooler and sounds like a jet engine LUV IT!...🤣🤣❤

I’ve been building and servicing computers professionally for a little over a decade now. I love seeing these old oddities and how far tech has come. Never forget your roots!

I bought this cooler back in 2004. It was a great novelty. I took it to my workplace and I got some good laughs from my colleagues that thought I was taking PC building too far. I had it on my work desk a few weeks, just leaving it on low spinning throughout the day just to look at and thereafter mounted it in my PC and used it for a few years. Though at those times, you didn't do so much PC modding in the form of RGB lights and whatnot, so 99% of cases had steel enclosures, so you never got to see it and thus inside a case it was just reduced to being a normal cooler. So off it went and onto my desk again. Then somehow I lost it or it broke and only this weekend when I was cleaning out my garage did I find the copper base of it (the Jet 7+ version was copper, then normal 7 version was normal tin/metal)
Nice piece of history that brought a smile back to me remembering my old job, my colleagues and the fan on my desk.

I’m surprised that the motherboard didn’t start flying away.

Ah yes, the jet engine cooler.

Making those Socket A systems live up to their name.

I heard this thing pairs nicely with an old flight simulator too.

That looks like something that would be sold at AutoZone in the cheap accessories aisle lol

If you wanna look at some weird tech: GALAX (or KFA2 in Europe) have made a single slot GTX 1070 gpu... called the 'Katana'

This dude needs more viewers, he genuinely looks for interesting things to share and explore without the annoying and hyperactive manner other tech tubers are. Great job 👌 keep up the good work and give his sisters channel a check out too, she makes sewing DIY clothing seem very doable and easy

"With the fan all cleaned up..." as the cylinder swings around and a dusty dingleberry hangs between the blades.

The sound really made me worried your motherboard was going to take off. Add some wings to them and they probably would
