Coronavirus outbreak: WHO announce cases of COVID-19 surpass 200,000 worldwide | FULL

The World Health Organization (WHO) held a news conference in Geneva on Wednesday about the COVID-19 outbreak.

During the briefing, WHO Director General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that the organization and its partners are organizing a study called the "solidarity trial" to allow nations to share information on COVID-19 experimental therapies and research. Some participating countries include Canada, Argentina, France and Iran, among others, with more expected to join.

Also, Tedros reported that there have been more than 200,000 known COVID-19 cases worldwide, and among those, 8,000 people have died from the virus.

I think people needs to take it very seriously and take all precautionary measures to protect themselves.
1. Stay away from big crowds
2. Keep distance from one and another.
3. Take plenty of fruits and vegetables.
4. Consume almonds and walnuts.
5. Take one Vitamin C daily around 500 IU.
6. Wash hands frequently stay away from touching your face unless they are clean.
7. Stay home as much as possible drink water, if can't find purified water heat your regular water add lemon juice.
8. Encourage young ones to stay home no beaches no vacations for at least 3 months.
9. Follow CDC guidelines and world health organization reports.
10. Don't panic and be hopeful since there is someone above all.
11. Make daily prayers.
12. Don't lose hope.
13. According to the health organization 81% will show immediate recovery without known it. But eventhough always take safety seriously.
14. Every city, home, public place, facilities must be disinfected. Keep on spraying places and provide hand sanitizer and masks if possible. You could use a cloth while exposing yourself out.
15. The world leaders must work with each others to call all professionals in this field to find solutions to this uncalled for outbreak that could be emitted from animals, atmosphere, toxics, water supplies as well as food supplies. I pray to the lord to get all of us out of this pandemic. Ameen.

Thank you to WHO team. I've followed you from the start. It so easy to assign blame to one entity when things get bad. People have to remember the countries have leaders and risk assessment ppl that were supposed to prepare and could consult who on guidelines. I remembered when the media asked WHO if they will declare state of emergency while it's in the starting stage but WHO said no because it's still early, let's wait and see. At that moment I asked myself do we have to wait until its get worse? Now it's happening. When Chinese government decided to lockdown Hubei province, it's was red flag.
