Catalonia - 'Green' Spain with spectacular scenery

It is composed of four provinces: Barcelona, Tarragona, Lleida and Girona.

There is much diversity of scenery and terrain; the provinces are fertile, watered by rivers and have long coastal zones with the exception of Lleida, which is landlocked. The three coastline provinces of Barcelona, Tarragona and Girona, offer a wide selection of hotels and good beaches.

My significant other & I are planning a weeks holiday to Catalonia for next year, from everything I've seen it looks absolutely beautiful, we're hoping to hire a car so we can see as much of it as we possibly can. My brother has visited the city of Barcelona about 3 or 4 times & raves about it so we'll definately do some time sightseeing there.

Thank you for visiting Catalonia 🇪🇦. But Spain it's mostly green and Catalonia isn't the greenest precisely, although it is also beautiful. The really spanish green land is Asturias, Cantabria, Basque, Galicia, Navarra and the north of Castilla.

Please don't visit Catalonia this 2024.Take conscience we are experiencing the most severe drought of our history, the don't need millions of tourists with their hotels, pools, etc while the people in cities won't be able even to go to public pools and the farmers cannot water their fields. Due to the incompetence of our politicians and the climate change we are under this situation. Please choose other place this 2024.
