The BEST of Catalunya (Other Than Barcelona)

Join us on our travel adventures around Spain! We continue our exploration of the Cataluyna (Catalonia) region of Spain. In this video we show some of the BEST places to visit in Cataluyna (other than Barcelona)!

Our first stop is Montserrat! We hiked up the mountain to the monastery of Santa Maria de Montserrat where we came face-to-face with the famous Black Madonna. The next place is a very popular city in Cataluyna (especially for the LGBT crowd) and that is Sitges! Relax at the beach or party the night away are only a few of the things you can do here in Sitges.

Some of the main attractions in Catalunya (Catalonia) are museums related to the famous Salvador Dalí. The first one was the Salvador Dalí House Museum in Cadaqués, which is also a great launching point for day trips to the Cap de Creus peninsula. Lastly, the Dalí Theatre-Museum is completely dedicated to Salvador Dalí, in his hometown of Figueres.

We loved the Catalunya (Catalonia) region of Spain, which offers some of the best experiences in the country. We strongly recommend venturing outside of Barcelona and visiting some of these places in Cataluyna!
