Mcdonalds was a big hangout spot when I was in high school. My buddies and I all left the manager there really good reviews. She ended up getting a raise and we got free food. It was a win win. She manages a local gas station now and we still see her from time to time

There was a restaurant called the last ottoman in Turkey. I went there with my girlfriend and there was a guy named Hasan with the best hospitality and attitude I’ve seen all my life. He’d give us free tea and a piece of dessert and he saw me giving him a good review from both my phone and my girlfriends phone. He was really happy and my girlfriend said “It’s wonderful how you made his day by giving only a minute from your life however it is also sad that it only took a minute because this must mean that people don’t give positive review a lot.” The realisation of humans being assholes hit like a truck.
