He says that everybody has their own version. There are literally two versions - His version and the truth.

If he would have done what the cops asked he would have been just fine.

Somehow, I've never been dragged out of my car when pulled over.

I’m surprised those criticizing the police action aren’t speaking of how he did not comply. It’s no wonder things escalated. “Don’t knock on my window”, really!!! The blacked out window staying up if obvious concern police can’t see inside the car, there’s no telling what the people in the car are doing. Window down is for the safety of the driver and the police. It’s a shame young people will look at this and think this is an acceptable way to respond to a traffic stop. The same incident would have resulted had the driver been white, Hispanic, Asian or terrestrial. Sad!

No protection needed. The officer was right all along. That’s the beauty of body cams….they don’t lie..

Lying dude. You were speeding in a contruction zone. They asked you to roll down the window and you refused, then started talking smack. Dude just tell the true and apologize. I saw the whole video not the edited version.

That’s not what the video footage shows, if you do what you’re told to do, then this situation won’t happen.

He never saw the video apparently. Not once did he say sir or yes sir when asked for cooperation in the traffic stop, he resisted all the commands that were given him and was rude yelling for his Drew Drew. Money and fame won’t stop stupidity.

good thing they had body cams because he lying all on video. cooperating? please define that because according to the definition in the dictionary you were not. You were acting uncooperative, entitled, and hostile.

The moment he rolled up his windows and didn't roll it back down, all bets were off. The police needs to see your hands at all times. Funny that Tyreke mentioned that "I was just making sure that I was doing what my uncle always told me to do whenever you’re in a situation like that, ‘Just listen, put your hands on the steering wheel and just listen.’" He was far from listening and far from having his hands on the steering wheel. For all the police knew, he could've been reaching for a weapon once the windows were rolled up. Keep playing that race card because only one race is dumb enough to be consistently shot by police.

....straight up lying, attitude from the start. He brought the whole thing on himself. He would serve his community better if he had apologized, and offered advice to black kids to act respectfully when dealing with a traffic stop.

Next time leave early, follow the officer instructions. Don't be a thug, just because you have money and famous.

He said the cop approached him hostile. I would be very pissed if somebody was putting others peoples life in jeopardy for reckless driving as well. There are reports that this was through a construction zone. What if there’s construction workers present and it’s your relative, like your mother, father, brother, sister, brother, son, or daughter out there working and his reckless driving causes him to strike one of them and kill them while they’re on the side of the road working or it’s one of your family members driving in the same area and he gets into a car accident with them as well. I would be very pissed as well . Accountability is apparently a a choice for some and mandatory for others, like the arresting officer get suspended and Hill catching a ball and winning a game.
